From Frustration to Function — Why I Created KiTE
I came back to India in 2024 after a few years in the U.S., and something as simple as finding a good protein bar became surprisingly hard. Nothing I tried matched what I was used to — high in protein, low in calories, clean ingredients, and actually enjoyable to eat.
Most options were either with sweeteners or sugar alcohols masked with different names, or date paste - honestly couldn't taste anything other than dates. And none followed my go-to rule: a 1:10 protein-to-calorie ratio — because what’s the point of hitting your protein goal if you’re blowing past your maintenance calories?
So I decided to build what I couldn’t find. After months of testing and 100+ iterations, I finally landed on a clean, minimal, high-protein bar that didn’t compromise on flavor or gut health. No sugar alcohols. No weird aftertaste. Just real food — powered by Allulose, a rare natural sugar that tastes like the real thing but behaves better.
We named it KiTE because we wanted to create something that lifts you — something that fuels your day, respects your effort, and tastes like it belongs in your routine. Our first flavors? Inspired by home: Alphonso Mango and Tender Coconut Water — tough to perfect, but worth every challenge.
KiTE isn’t just a bar. It’s what I wish I had found on that trip home — and now, I get to share it with you.
